About Us - West Branch Angler & Resort

The West Branch Resort has been family owned & operated for the better part of twenty years. Founded by Harry T Batschelet in 1991,and now run by his two sons, the resort has grown into truly unique environment that offers its guests a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy. The Resort was completely renovated in 2007 and the results are truly amazing. Offering its guests 27 unique log homes situated on 350 acres of pristine riverfront property, and virtually every outdoor activity you can imagine it will truly be a memorable trip for you and your friends.

With 2 miles of private catch and release water on the West Branch of the Delaware, you can choose to fish the river here at the resort, go on a guided river trip with one of our pro guides, fly fish our stocked trout and bass pond, shoot sporting clays or hunt our preserve. Our log cabins range from cozy studio size all the way up to luxury personified, with the multi-bedroom CEO's and Executive cabins sporting a host of amenities. Our accommodations blend in with the area's natural surroundings, and are designed to accommodate guests from the budget minded to those who desire the very best.
