Resort Policies
Deposits:
50% deposit is required at time of reservation. Deposits
may be in the form of cash, money order or check. Reservations will not
be held and are not confirmed until a deposit has been received. If a
deposit has not been received at least 30 days prior to the date of arrival,
the reservation will be automatically cancelled. Credit cards are acceptable
for deposits only on reservations made 30 days prior to the date of the
actual stay. Deposits of 50% on guide trips are required at time of reservation.
Deposits are not transferable.
Cancellations/Refunds:
If you cancel 14 days before your scheduled day of arrival, we will refund
your deposit, less 10% handling fee or apply your deposit to a future
stay within the current year. Cancellations with less than 14 days notice
do not qualify for a refund even if due to illness, work schedule changes
or inclement weather conditions. If you cancel with less than 14 days
notice, and we are able to fill your cancelled reservation, we will apply
your lodging deposit, less 10% handling fee, to a future stay during the
current year only.
Guides are independent contractors, therefore deposits are
forwarded directly to the guide. Deposits on canceled guide trips may
be applied to a future trip within the current year at the sole discretion
of the guide.
Children:
Children 9 years old or younger stay free. Children under 9 will be charged
$3.50 per day for breakfast.
Rollaway and Cribs:
Available upon request at no charge.
Pets:
Dogs (2 maximum) are allowed @ $10/night/pet. Pets must be kept on a leash
at all times when outside the cabin, and cleaned up after. 1 hour early
departure is required. Guest is responsible for any damages done by the
pet. One dog used for hunting our preserve, or for a guided bird hunt,
is allowed at no charge beginning October 1st of each season.
Credit Cards:
MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted for payment.
Minimum Stay:
2 nights minimum stay is required on weekends (Fri/Sat) for the entire
season. 3 night minimum for Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.
Check-In/Out-Times:
Check in time is after 3:00pm. Room availability cannot be assured before
that time. Arrival prior to official check-in time is at your own risk.
Check out time is no later than 11:00am.
Additional Persons:
$50 per person per night is added.
Taxes/gratuities:
8.25% tax New York sales tax, 3% local county occupancy tax, and gratuities
are not included in any published rates.
